Meeting called to order at 8 am

Bonnie Morse, Brickel Creek Coffee: Ice cream and sandwiches are now on the menu

Melinda Harden, Between 2 Buns They are now offering Breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches Wed-Sun from 7-7 Expresso, focus on food. Also serving smash burgers (burger press fried onto onions), Lotus and RedBull drinks.

Mitzi Michaud from Park and Rec , Soccer, all the regular stuff…

Marc Kroetch There is an office suite 200 Sq Ft available at the end of this month

Shane from Intermax Talk to him about fiber installation for home and business

Althea Sondahl Historical Society is excited about saving the history of the area. Open Memorial weekend Saturday and Monday. Open house 1-4 There is a committee of young people focusing on the Woolen Brown building history…

Becky Gritty, Foxadoodle Farm, Spirit Lake Urban Renewal Agency Gritty Land development has been very busy. Their digital sign idea near theVFW got stopped by a building inspector. Gritty LD is doing home and garden shows. Foxadoodle has new quail. The greenhouse will be planted soon. They will participate in the Thursday Market on Maine, with home made detergent, eggs, and lard available.

Spirit Lake Urban Renewal Agency has money to use to increase tax value and improve the area; funds must be spent by the end of 2025. Recent expenditures include Historical Preservation study for the community. There was discussion of Spirit Lake Urban Renewal Agency funds use. It does not create or execute requests, only funds them.

Mona Stafford: Th seniors were starting a farmer’s market, but agreed to make it more visible by moving it downtown, and extend hours downtown to make a livelier atmosphere… Thursday Market is being sponsored by the city but run by volunteers Becky, Mona, and Carol… Sponsors are welcome—details to be worked out. Gritty Land Development, NW Landworks, CDA Paving are initial sponsors. The music schedule is filled for the season… Money from booths and sponsors will go toward signs, and/or music, including $250 to cover music for one evening. A need for Wifi for Square and other credit machines was discussed. One suggestion was Real Internet –Dixie Reed..

Nonprofit booths will be possible as well such as the Comm. Center, Cup of Grace, Chamber, etc.

They discussed distributing word about it through the schools…

The group Chose B, and will make arrangements for all but around 400 brochures to go to the distributors.

Maine St. Market Starts this Thursday. Brad is donating his time doing music for it.

Banner for the ,market at Big City Park fence was suggested… 30 X 48 is the size.

Discussed moving meeting to Sedlmayer’s will do so for June…

Brad mentioned the Inland Empire Paper Lands are in negotiation to have a conservation easement. Marc clarified that passes are still required this summer, but by Fall foot travel and bikes (including pedal only E-bikes) may start by Fall…

There was some discussion of a new bike park in Sagle.

Next meeting will be June 4 at Sedlmayers—will decide then whether to continue meeting at the Fire Hall or continue at Sedlmayers
